what a start
well, so far 2006 sucks. we’ve been redecorating and everything is really coming together. we decided to wall mount our bedroom tv. djembe did a wonderful job of it, then chose to break both arms. OMG! ladder accident and he broke his fall with his left arm, rolled on his right. so the left is currently in a splint and the right is in a brace. this all happened yesterday. we made it to the ER around 6:30 PM and returned home around 4 AM. fortunately we have great neighbors that ran over when i called, put a splint on his arm (she’s a doc), took care of locking up the house, fed the dogs, and took our kids (as well as the puppy) for the night. djembe is in a TON of pain. i hate it, there is nothing i can do to take it away. the meds aren’t really taking it away. i had to go back to school today…no students, but i did have first semester grades to take care of and rosters to grab for new kids tomorrow. maybe i will take time to finish my storage goals, but i have to take care of my teaching junk first.
i certainly hope the new year gets better.

Poor guy! Both aems, yet!
Let’s hope things will get a whole lot better, starting on this very day!!!

OH My GOSH! That is so scarey. I had a family friend who died after falling off a ladder, while painting his house. Thank God he landed on his arms and not his head…(although that really, really sucks I’m sure!) Hoping things get much much much better and that he feels some relief soon. Michele sent me.

Oh my gosh! That’s awful. Poor guy - and wow poor all of you! I was so sorry to see this in your comment on my blog. I had to dash over and leave my well wishes.
