Yes, LA. No. Not Lower Alabama. I love it there, but I’m looking forward going with Djembe to Los Angeles. He has business to deal with and I get to go with him. This will be the first trip in a while without kids. I would love to take the girls with us, but it will be great to have some time just us. I’m not sure what I will do while he is in meetings, but the evenings will be ours. Woohoo!!! The flights and hotel were booked today, but the rest of the details are still in the making. Funny thing, I really don’t care. I’m excited about spending the time with him. How we spend it really doesn’t matter.

L.A. can be lots of fun… tons of shopping, but the best thing is people watching! Oh, and if y’all are there over the weekend, you’ve got to check out the Swap Meet at the Orange County fairgrounds — biggest flea market you’ve ever seen! And drive up to beautiful Big Bear if it’s not still in danger from the wildfires.
