I’ve spent the morning drinking coffee and exploring the WWW. Time to start the day. It is that time of year where I will torture myself with school shopping. Someone said they enjoy it and they have an obsession with office supplies. I can relate to that. I do enjoy it to a degree, but shopping with two young children (all day) takes the joy out of it. I should probably break it up day after day. It is just too hot out to be going to the store each day. Not to mention the gas issue, going back and forth to “town”. So we try to make it a day. Here’s hoping it is a successful one.

I hope the day wasn’t too bad. My SIL in doing the same thing getting ready for the new school year. I think they start this week or either she starts this week. I do agree it’s too hot to do any type of shopping and I’m like you the gas is too high to go back and forth to town. If only there was a W-mart in Puckett I’d be so happy:) I hate the weekend grocery thing just because of the drive….
BTW–I went ahead and moved. Not going to wait for my design. I’m now at http://www.simplydawnmarie.com Thanks for all you help! Did you ever find out what a post slug was? Just curious….

I know that what I’m about to say is probably going to make you despise me, but I’m finished with back-to-school shopping! I split it over 2 months, since the supply list for K-5 was nearly a mile long. Got my daughter’s some new tennis shoes today, and that’s it!
Now I can concentrate on finishing my summer reading and writing tests for the books.
