Contrary to most other games on the kickoff to college football season, this one was actually interesting to watch.  Worst move of the game goes to Washington State who put in their second string quarterback then immediately take him out after he ran some pretty impressive plays. Kenny Irons made several impressive scores almost stepping out of bounds and giving up a touchdown to show-boating in response to Washington State trash talk, a move he regrets, but thankfully the touchdown remained after review.
Looks like the Auburn Tigers have gotten off to a great start, ranked #4 in AP polls, #6 in the USA Today poll, #4 in ESPN.com poll, and #5 ESPNU AllState standings. The other “major” AL university barely ranks in the top 25 at #22 in the ESPNU and #24 for USA Today.
Next week, Auburn takes on Mississippi State at Mississippi State. MSU may have paid my graduate tuition, but I’ll still be in the stands pulling for AU. WAR EAGLE!

Poor ole Mississippi State; they just can’t get their act together. I hope it’ll be a GAME between them and Auburn, and not a blow-out. That’s no fun for anyone.

I can honestly say I’m not a huge MSU fan. I’m more the Ole Miss fan…..My brother is MSU and I was Ole Miss so it was fun to have the rival games with us.
Patt doesn’t watch football and since he doesn’t I don’t follow the games as much as I use to. My ex was a LSU fan and living in Baton Rouge I became a fan, unless they were playing a MS team.
