First, lets talk about Mr. Linky. GREAT tool if you do a meme and you want to link back to other participants. However, it is HIGHLY rude to stop by, link yourself and not say anything. If you don’t want to comment, that’s your biz! However, it’s just rude to stop in, link yourself, and not even say hi.
Now on with the list…
I took this image while flying home from LA. It is now my desktop wallpaper. I offer you today thirteen things I see in this photograph…

1. The beauty of the sky…the brightest of blue enhanced by the crisp white of fluffy clouds.
2. Softness of clouds. They are so much fun!
3. Power. The tremendous power of a building thunderstorm.
4. Relaxation. Combine the above three things and for me relaxation is natural. It is a beautiful setting. One could become lost in the random highs and lows of the clouds expanding. What seems so soft holds so much more. A good thunderstorm, not severe, I find relaxing as I drift to sleep.
5. Imagination. You know I can’t get out of this list without playing the cloud game.
6. Top left. Is that the man in the moon blowing a party favor?
7. Or, is it a witch sticking out her forked tongue?
8. Center. Hungry hungry hippo?
9. Or, the flying dog from Neverending Story?
10. Bottom center. The dark shadows make it look like an angry Ord from Dragontales.
11. To Ord’s left, I think I see what he is angry at. It reminds me of the back of Tiki’s head as she is annoying the big dogs…floppy ears and all.
12. Right side. If you stare at it long enough it looks like a big dog with poofy fur wearing sunshades. You really have to stare though.
13. I won’t say a giant marshmallow…although, on my desktop, it does somewhat look like a toasted one that was too close to the flame. Top right, center of the cloud brush strokes…is that a cloaking spaceship? Or a terradactyl eye with wings only slightly visible?
You see anything?

Lovely shot. Sometimes I don’t mind those drive by linky’s if they are my regulars and I know they are just having one of those busy days. I have a few of those myself, pretty dang often. =-) Hope you have a great Thursday.

I can totally see Ord! It amazing how many different things can be seen in clouds!
As for Mr. Linky, I’ve been trying to use it but it’s been messing up my template. Is there something special I’m suppose to do when using it with WP?

Great list and beautiful pic. I just got back from Arizona and I took about 30 pictures out the plane window…it’s nice to know I’m not the only one! I see a hippo right in the front, center.
My TT is up!

I love this TT!
I moved back to a flat recently because I missed seeing the sky in my groundfloor house.
I also see the most wonderful things in the clouds, nice to see people who have as much imagination! Beautiful picture!

Neat picture - I see lots of things in that picture. Imagination is a great tool - unfortunately most of us lose the ability to use it the older we get. I see a big beautiful face right centre. Oh yes I see the witch too!!

I’m breathless! Such beautiful photo. I agree with you 100% with the beauty of the sky.

Awesome TT!!!
I think I see a fish, maybe a blowfish, like the one in Finding nemo, but he has an Elvis hair-do. Over in the top left corner.
September 7th, 2006 at 8:10 am
Beautiful. So much fun to use our imaginations.
September 7th, 2006 at 8:49 am
I’m definitely seeing the things that you have mentioned. The main thing that stands out to me is the troll looking guy(with the spike hair) and glasses laying on the cloud with his foot poking out. Could just get lost in that cloud. Lol how fun!
September 7th, 2006 at 9:02 am
The clouds are beautiful. I love how soft they look, like you could scoop up a handful.
September 7th, 2006 at 9:04 am

September 7th, 2006 at 10:48 am
Absolutely original. Awesome!
Though I can see the troll Ocean Lady saw on the right, I saw it as Don King. But then, I’m a guy, so what do I know?
September 7th, 2006 at 11:57 am
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture.
I would steal, I mean borrow, it but that would be rude.
I have been taking tons of pics of the sky lately.
Thanks for sharing this amazing sky art.
