I don’t understand this whole Black Friday deal. First, I’m not HUGE shopper. I enjoy buying for others, but I DO NOT enjoy the crowds. However, I DO like getting a good deal. After we returned home from the family Thanksgiving get-together I scanned the papers to see if there was anything exciting. There wasn’t. I decided to venture out this morning…just in case I missed something spectacular. I didn’t. Seriously people…if you are going to call it a Black Friday sale I want to see some major savings. I was less than impressed. If I’m not going to get serious savings then I will shop another, less crowded, time.
Update…
“Baby Boy No Name” is still nameless. WTH! Name the kid already! Unbelievable. He is a cutie though. OK fine…he looks like every one of the other ones, but they were all cute.
My cousin is coming tomorrow!!! I’m so excited! He is so much fun and I can’t wait to show him around some more.
Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!

When did this day start being known as black friday (I thought that was the day the stock market crashed). I stayed away until late in the day when I had to get some white paint to fix up the board under the tree that supports the train. So I only went into the hardware store. Sounds like you all had a nice thanksgiving.

I’m with you. I actually finished the vast majority of my shopping last week. A few of the stores I needed to hit up had some nice sales throughout November. Made it a good (less crowded) time to get my shopping done. Now I can sit back and enjoy the holiday season.
