In the past…

Special Thx

oooeee….and shopping ew.

I have a new publishing toy…I hope it’s good! After I cleanse my mind I will install. Another oooooeeeee, Djembe will pick up our new computer tomorrow! I’m excited. We’ve been needing to replace the PC for a while now. I would mention the specs, but honestly that stuff means absolutely nothing to me. Gigs Megs KB, whatever. Too mathematical. Ugh. (There’s an intelligent word.) I’m having to review for a basic skills test. I have to take it to receive a license in another state. OMG…I am so far gone when it comes to math. It’s been twelve years since my last math course and 14 since an upper level course. I’m in serious need of tutoring. I’m currently working on the ACT review. It makes me feel stupid. Really…ugh.

Went to hear a local band last night. It has become our Thursday night thing. There really isn’t anything else to do in this area, but I think it’s a little odd to go to the same place, on the same day, every week. OK, unless it is kids eat free night at the Mexican place, LOL. (Which btw, coincides with our selected Thursday night date night.) Anyway, it is starting to border on groupie status and I have an issue with that. I have to say, it has been nice to leave the kids with the sitter each week. Much needed time and the entertainment is good…No joke, these guys are great. It’s really great to watch people perform who are really having fun with it.

Now for that shopping thing. I started my Christmas shopping tonight. As a result, the online buying is looking better and better. I really enjoy buying for my family, but I hate dealing with shopping. Not only that, but the selection hoovers and the prices aren’t so great either. I’m not so much in the Christmas mood. My students are driving me nuts and we have a good bit to cover next week. Time to pull in the leash…but it’s the weekend. I’m not thinking about that…I’m going to install my new toy…

Hi lurkers ;) Kontan jou!
