LINCOLN, Neb. — A dead man’s storage locker yielded dozens of tombstones, a macabre collection that police believe represents “a lifetime of stealing.”
Some of the 47 gravestones date to the late 1800s; others are relatively recent. Police say they probably came from different cemeteries at different times.
The markers were found by the family of a Lincoln man who died last summer, but it wasn’t until Thursday that police matched the first one to a grave.
Definitely for the weird news category. Tombstones? What purpose does that serve? Strange fetish. OK, so the old-old tombstones I can understand…you know, for the historical significance. But still, creepy.

I started a workout circuit today. The girls are taking Tae Kwon Do and I feel bad about sitting there watching them for an hour when I could be working out in the attached gym. So I signed us up. Yes, us. Djembe will be going too. I plan to work with the trainer until I get the equipment and routine down. Maybe Jem knows how to use all the equipment, but I don’t have the first clue. Shouldn’t be a problem to figure it all out. Just glad to be doing something to get in shape.
