Right now TST, grade recovery, and extended school year have me boiling over. How many chances are too many? Some need extra help...some simply need a swift kick.

At our school, a 90 or above for the year is the requirement for exam exemptions, thank goodness. I don't have too hard feelings for that, as I would if it were 80 (what in the world?!) or above.

And, I bet we could have a good time comparing notes on the lame excuses and questions we got when kids missed that exemption. ...Makes me see red just thinking about it again, so I better not go there.

I just love the dauschand on the stairs...too cute. Makes me think of my Ruby girl :)

Wow school is already out. My father in law came by this morning with my nephews very happy to be spending the summer with papaw. Found out they both did great in school this year. It's important to teach them if they play they will fail. The real world is not nice and sadly one day they will find that out and wish they would have paid more attention to school.....
