A new toy!

I’m really excited about it and can’t wait until arrival! Being in a new school, teaching a new subject, and “floating” most of the day this will be a handy tool. I almost ordered the green one, but Djembe’s “um…green” stopped me. I went with the blue. It is more “professional” I guess, and it is the school colors…or Auburn’s LOL. Hmmm…maybe that is why Jem questioned the green.

Didn’t you already have a notebook?
Err…yes. I wanted more power and more speed. I will be using it more than ever and I want all of my stuff in one place. Besides, I think Jem will find having the other one full time will be handy as he is pursuing new adventures as well.

Congratulations.

I think it was a great idea getting a colored notebook that will be easily recognizable. Also, passing on the green was a good idea too. If you’re gonna buy green stuff, you should always wait until they sell it in Marshall’s for eight bucks.

Oooh, that is so cool! It’s always such a thrill to bring home a new laptop. My new toy – an HP laptop…very small and chic – is just over 2 months old, and it still magic every time I turn it on and listen to its spacey sounding startup tunes.

Funny how I’m SUCH a geek by virtue of what I do for a living, yet the cool factor never seems to wear off for me. I’m glad you’re the same way.

BTW, I would have chosen the blue, too. It’s a great shade.
