Homecoming and edurant.

Tomorrow. It’s a parade and everything. I am so not into the drama. The freshman are done with theirs but still participate in the 10-12 version. This is just not my thing. [Please login or register to view private content.]
What is our goal? We can’t make them care. How do you convey the importance of learning? I haven’t figured it out, but I’m working on it.

How’s that for a ramble? Time for bed. My goal this weekend…enter grades for college and high school freshman, and take a nap.

Get through homecoming–then it’s thanksgiving or Christmas… I was one of those grammar weak students

We got through it and the kids had loads of fun. There is something that sparks the “care” factor and teachers have to find out what it is. That is what I can’t figure out. I guess the hardest part is that it is different for everyone.

You’re not giving me much hope for Homecoming, which is next week. Aw, what am I saying? I started wishing it was over before it even began. And it’s not the kids giving me grief… It’s our Homecoming Committee of parents who don’t have enough to do.

Love having parents involved, but love it more when they face reality.
