Sky Watch!
Time for another sky shot for the week. I have to remember to start carrying my camera each morning because the sunrise on my drive in is phenomenal. Although, I really don’t have time to stop, it would be worth it. Today I am posting a shot that I took this morning. I love rainy days and love when the clouds have character. Not the best shot in the world, but it fits my mood for the day…tired and ready for weekend rest.

Manic Monday
. It isn’t another first for me. I’ve participated in Manic Monday before, but decided to join in again today. I don’t know what it is about meme’s lately, maybe I am needing blog inspiration or organization to my chaos. On tap for the week…mock trial is starting up again, parents night at the elementary school tonight, and it’s race week! Not to mention the everyday grind. Now on to the meme….

What is one thing you admire about each of your parents?
Which parts of your home do you like best?
Which would you prefer and why? To have every stoplight turn green upon your arrival for the rest of your life or to have one week of the best sex any person ever had?
Admire? Oh my. They both gave me life and that will have to be good enough to answer this question. Gran was a true parent and I admire her strength, her will to survive, and her artistic nature. She could pinch pennies better than anyone and she loved unconditionally. Gran was an admirable woman.
Home? What do you mean by home? Where I live, I like my workspace in the bedroom, my relaxing garden tub, and the open floor plan. Home as in back home? It’s where my extended family is.
Green lights or great sex? Since I can’t complain about the sex I have to say green lights on this one. I am a WAY impatient traveler.

Camera Critters
A weekly meme that I think I can really get into. Camera-critters is celebrating its 1/2 anniversary this week with CC26. The meme is simple. Just post your pics of animals and critters and visit others. It’s a weekend thing. Due to laziness (I don’t want to get up and upload pics from our park visit today) I will pull from my photo archives. It’s isn’t everyday you’re driving down the road in Alabama and run across a ground hog.
One woman teacher strike
I am holding my own teacher strike. Just me, all by my lonesome. I am taking the night off. At some point this thing has to get easier. I would go to bed early but the VP debate is tonight and it should hold some level of entertainment…
Pandora wonderfulness
I know Annie at A Yank Gone South uses it, but have the rest of you given Pandora a try? It is AWESOME! Don’t get me wrong, I love my iTunes, Foxytunes, and my iPod, but I am totally enjoying Pandora. You choose an artist and it customizes a station around the artist. Think satellite radio for the net, only better. I love the thumbs up/thumbs down feature. If something comes up that you don’t like you can simply thumbs down and Pandora apologizes and promises not to play it again on your station. Love that. Free music at your fingertips, customized for you…gotta love it.
