Uh, I know the cold part
Isolation in Hungarian houses sucks, our doors / windows are more than old.
Where I am sitting (at the terrace door) it is only one piece of glass, not double.
I have blankets hanging in front to keep the draft out and the shutters are closed.

I left NC yesterday--people was complaining of the cold but I thought it was just thin blood. I got home today (yes, I ended up taking an extra long layover in Atlanta) and there is snow on the ground and it was 17 degrees earlier this morning, or so I was told. sages last blog post..Fishing off Harker's Island
