there’s snow. Let the city screech to a grinding halt. Keep in mind we are still a southern state and not equipped to deal with heavy snow in this area. The mountains, yes. Piedmont, not so much. It’s coming down and was even accompanied by thunder earlier. I certainly hope that schools make the determination tonight and we are able to sleep in tomorrow. There is no sense prolonging the inevitable.

Dear Driver in the Charcoal Van,

I appreciate your attempt at being polite, but ignoring traffic laws and stopping in the road waiting for me to pull out is ignorant. Please, continue on your way and when I am ready to look both ways and pull out I will. I suspect the people you were holding up, while ignoring traffic laws, would agree with me.
