Dog play and stormy days
Still in our summer storm pattern, we are enjoying pretty days and stormy nights. The big dogs really do not like the stormy nights, but the love the pretty days…especially when I take a few minutes to kick the ball for them. I know it has to drive the neighbors crazy because Tchaik and Blackie are really enthusiastic when we play their version of soccer. I kick, Blackie hits it back with her nose, I kick, they chase, and bark-bark-growl-bark. They will do this for as long as I will kick the ball.
. . . and when the clouds move in, the dogs start asking to come in.

Oh, that’s so much fun
!

JoJo does it with a darn squeaky rubber chicken and King has a favorite ball. They could do the throw and retrieve thing for hours!
I love those clouds.
Wish we had a bit more rain here. At least in the evenings

Tiki has a squeaky bone that my husband despises. He’s not too fond of the big dogs barking at the ball either.
Rain again today. Yesterday, I took a few videos of the lightening that I hope to pull screen shots from. LOTS of lightening.
Trisket doesn’t like the storms either, but we’re not getting them. After a very wet spring, July has been very dry and the grass is showing it.
