Oktoberfest
At Oktoberfest with Jem. It is wrong to call this Oktoberfest. It’s a beerfest and not even a gathering of beer hobbyists. This groups more like what you would see at a college frat party. To give you an idea the band is covering Nirvana. Really? Realize that I do understand that the whole Oktoberfest is about beer but usually there is a little German heritage celebration with it.
*sigh*
At least it was time together with Jem.

Well, for what it’s worth, the Oktoberfest or “Volksfest” over here in Germany is really just a big frat party, too. Some people dress up in traditional garb, but the beer tents are pretty much just giant keggers. So don’t feel like you didn’t have an “authentic” Oktoberfest. A bunch of drunk people singing off songs when they only know about half the words? Dancing on tables? Slobbery mashing and groping? Yup, 100% AUTHENTIC!
