People who should apologize have no clue. I've worked for my last real job place for almost 8 years. Every idiot got a farewell party - I didn't. Yes, my last work day was on New Years. And? They could have done it before, no? Some colleagues gave me a farewell present and I appreciated it, but it still comes up sour after so many years. Oh well. All the Best for your new job though! May you have lots of great people there! It’s always that way, ain’t it?

I’ve worked for my last real job place for almost 8 years.
Every idiot got a farewell party – I didn’t.

They could have done it before, no?

Some colleagues gave me a farewell present and I appreciated it, but it still comes up sour after so many years.
