2- Again, have all grades taken this week entered by Friday.
3- Have girls create their video blog entry to post to the family site.
4- Make it to the gym 3x this week.
5- Spend at least one evening with Djembe not worrying about anything. Jem, clear your schedule and let me know what works.

We are entering the first full week of 2008. Tomorrow will be the first day back to school. The girls are all curled up snug in their beds…or they are supposed to be but I hear noises coming from the hallway.
-back after several minutes-
O-M-G.
Two nights in a row. TWO. I blame myself. For what? Oh, it’s a joy lemme tell ya…
THIS-
Ew- you say. YES ew. Silly putty. IN MY CHILD’S HAIR….A-freakin-gain! Why didn’t I throw it away last night? Because she likes the stuff and I didn’t think that she would get it in her hair…again. Last night it was funny. Tonight, not so much. She wasn’t going to tell me, but as I stated I heard something in the hall. That turned out to be her with the baby oil combing silly putty out of her hair. Lil Bit is our sneaky child. If she makes a mess she will clean it up before you find out. If she tries to light her candle but ends up setting birthday cards on fire instead, she will put out the fire and hope you don’t smell it. If she gets silly putty in her hair she will not come to you first, she will try to get it out herself and come only when she finds that is not possible. However, after she has seen you do it once she’s good for the next time.
This child. Really, I love the self sufficiency but she takes it to a whole new (and dangerous) level.
I was going to list my goals for the week, but they have changed…
Moving to number 1- have my children in bed reading by 8 and lights out at 8:30.
All silly putty will be disposed of.
#2- Lesson plans in.
#3- Any grades taken this week need to be in the system by the end of the day on Friday. The end of the day shall be understood to be 11 PM when the system shuts down for its backup.
#4- By the end of the week have my class folder together and reorganized for the new semester. Some of you may refer to this as a gradebook. Think of it as a modified gradebook in a binder, suitable to hand over for a sub if necessary and perfect for my floating teacher needs. (I have to get a room or a new position.)
#5- To get up on time and not make the frantic dash to school at 7:30. Really, this is a big one for me.
In order to get a good start on #5 I must say good night.
